Clean Water Lab is a water and food safety testing laboratory. Our services range from bacterial testing in water to pathogen testing in food. State certifications
Our lab is certified by the NC Dept. of Health and Human Services for the Microbiological Analysis of Drinking Water. Our water testing reports come with our certifications at the end. If you want to learn more about interpreting our water testing reports, click here.
Food safety foundation.
Before founding Clean Water Lab, Lee Ewing (President and Founder) was performing extensive in-house microbiological analyses at his sprout farm in Western NC. Many farmers around Lee also needed to meet Good Agricultural Practices. It was evident that the in-house lab services at the sprout farm were valuable to other farmers.
The desire to support local farmers is what drove Lee to found Clean Water Lab.

Since the lab began, Lee sought scientifically educated and trained individuals from industry. So with strong and caring scientific leadership, the lab continues to grow.
